Strengthening Medicare

Labor is strengthening Medicare with the biggest ever investment in bulk billing in Medicare history. This is helping ease the pressure on household budgets through cheaper medicines and free, bulk billed visits to the GP, including:

🔹 Tripling of bulk billing incentives
🔹 185,000 cheaper scripts issued locally
🔹90,844, 60-day prescriptions dispensed locally
🔹 Freezing the maximum cost of PBS medicines
